The Best And Worst Attitudes For A Happy Relationship!

Most people are unaware how their thoughts and feelings affect their ability to have loving relationships.

I was at a caf? on Sunset Blvd. and as I looked around me, I saw a table over to my right with two women deep in conversation. Both were hunched over. As I looked at one of the women, I could see her energy was tight and angry; she was carrying a lot of resentment. Then I glanced over at the other woman and could see she was feeding off of her friend?s negative feelings. Then I observed their combined energy and saw they were unknowingly spiraling into negativity.

Feeling angry and negative or accommodating a friend, coworker or lover?s frustration may initially feel engaging and give you a rush of energy, but eventually it will deplete and then drain both of you.

Most people quit a relationship when both feel unloved and unsupported. It?s a complaint I hear often from my clients who are struggling to identify if they should stay in a relationship or leave.

Recently a lady sent me a message on Facebook, ?Should I be with Tom??

?I am happy to tune in for you and show you the pros and cons of the relationship,? I replied.

?Can?t you just give me a ?Yes? or ?No? answer?? she said.

?I can but that wouldn?t help you because you need to understand at a cellular level the dynamics of the ?yes? and the ?no? to make an empowered choice,? I said.

?I just wanted a ?yes? or ?no?. Thanks anyway,? she said.

I didn?t need to do an intuitive reading to know that it wouldn?t work out for her and Tom. This lady already knew that Tom wasn?t right for her. She wasn?t ready to trust and act upon her intuition.

Last week when I was doing yoga, my body was tired and I heard my intuition say, ?You need to rest.? I ignored my intuition and when it came time to pick an inversion posture, I wanted to prove to myself that I was strong and in control so I did a headstand, injured my neck and couldn?t exercise for a week.

I often see people be very tough on themselves when they?ve discredited an intuitive feeling and felt frustrated that they didn?t listen to their inner guidance.

The reason people ignore intuition is because it is an intangible energy. If you could see what someone was thinking and feeling, you would likely have a gentler attitude and make different choices.

I love this quote from Napoleon Hill:

?When two or more people coordinate in a spirit of harmony and work toward a definite objective or purpose, they place themselves in a position, through the alliance, to absorb the power directly from the great storehouse of Infinite Intelligence.?

You have a choice in each moment to think and feel a certain way. Regardless of how another person behaves, it does not have to negatively affect your day.

If he doesn?t text when he said he was going to text, are you going to let it ruin your day?

If she doesn?t get excited when you tell her about your job promotion are you going to let it take the wind out of your sails?

If he doesn?t take the trash out are you going to feel like he doesn?t care?

If she makes a snippy comment will you pretend but then let resentment accumulate a little bit at a time?

It truly is your call how you respond. Remember, you create your life at an energy level first. Are you willing to live as your highest and best self today?

Love & miracles,
